Trustpilot's Flagging System: What Works and What Doesn't
Trustpilot's content integrity team only acts on guideline-clear flags. Here's how to write one that wins.
By Review Remover Editorial Team
Trustpilot publishes specific flag reasons — harmful or illegal, advertising/promotional, not based on genuine experience, contains personal info.
Flags that reference the exact guideline get acted on at much higher rates than vague 'this is fake' reports.
If you can demonstrate the reviewer is not in your customer database, Trustpilot will frequently request the reviewer provide proof of purchase — and remove the review if they cannot.
